1984 Book Cover 1 from Illustrator

  1. I like the simplicity of these two, but I would definitely use a different font for the title. Right now, it's look a little to... unconsidered, I guess. Like you never gave it any thought and used the default in word. I do like the words behind the title though, it really fits with the mood of the book.

Also, the first design, with the eye, really reminds me of this version of the book. I like the concept, but maybe alter the color scheme or something?http://www.amazon.com/1984-Signet-Classics-George-Orwell/dp/0451524934/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1267491945&sr=8-1

  2. Well, the font was supposed to be clean, crisp, and orderly. I wanted to use something thin and modern for a totalitarian style font. This is why I chose the elegant sans-serif font.

However, I could have probably spent more time on the font itself as I'm sure that there's something better than what I used, but I was on a time limit.
